Online Donations If you choose to make a donation to Boston Rising via our online donation form, you will be asked for personal billing and credit card information. Boston Rising’s online donation form is hosted on a secure site, using high-grade encryption and the industry-standard https security protocol to ensure secure transactions. The donations are processed by Authorize.net. (That company’s web site can be found at http://www.authorize.net.) The credit card information that you provide at the time of the donation only will be used to process your donation and will not be used for any other purposes.
Aside from information necessary to process your online donations, which may be used by Authorize.net, we do not share, sell, or rent your personally identifiable information with anyone. If you make an online donation to us, your information will be added to our database, and you may be contacted about other Boston Rising activities, news, and/or fundraising campaigns unless you specify otherwise in writing.
